Merman Slaps on Luffy

Jinbei used Merman Slaps on Luffy..
Luffy still not awake even though Jinbei slaps him..

Is Oda foreshadowing something about this..?
Let me explain a little bit about that..

Okay..
For me..
Jinbei slaps Luffy's face for several times maybe the hint that Oda left for us..
Jinbei originated from Fishman Island..
He's the Captain for Sun Pirates after Tiger Shark..

There are TWO thing that I want to talk about..
But these TWO things are linked together..
i) Luffy not awake..
- This mean that in this present time.. He will not yet awaken his DF ability.. He only awake when they offer him meat.. This makes me think that Luffy will awaken his DF ability when he's in full strength.. Look.. In Seducing Forest, Luffy fight against Charlotte Cracker.. He ate most of Crackers defense army.. So that he will reach the certain limit.. This help him to make new form (the different form of Bounce Man) that called as Tank Man..
ii) Jinbei slaps him..
- Jinbei maybe the reason for Luffy to awaken his DF ability in future arc.. Maybe this link to Madame Shirley's premonition in Fishman Island where Fishman Island will be attack by Luffy.. Remember that Jinbei hold the responsibility toward Luffy start at Impel Down arc to Marine Ford arc.. Now he continued to protect Luffy.. This is strange because what is happen between Jinbei & Ace..? Ace done something that far beneath the life (means that he sacrifice himself to help Jinbei..?) in the past..? So that Jinbei will pay his life for Luffy..? This need a backstory for us to better understand Jinbei's position & role in future arc..

So..
This mean that Luffy is somehow will awaken his ability.. Maybe when he attack Marie Joie.. Marie Joie share the same location with Fishman Island.. He done something toward Marie Joie.. Then Fishman Island will received that attack also because Fishman Island located under Marie Joie.. Will he awaken it because his nakama in danger..? Especially Jinbei..?
